#GiveNundle

#GiveNundle

Following the success of the #Buyfromthebush and #Buyregional social media campaigns Nundle Business Tourism and Marketing Group Inc has created its own micro campaign #GiveNundle to encourage Nundle residents and visitors to visit our bricks and mortar, and online stores ( Nundle Woollen Mill, Sacs On Jenkins, Odgers and McClelland Exchange Stores, Stormcrow Studio and Moonglow Australia).
Nundle Woollen Mill owner Nick Bradford came up with the idea and sees it as a “feel good” campaign to help our local business owners. Then there’s the spin off spending on postage, groceries, fuel, music lessons, car registration…and local Christmas presents in your own town or neighbouring regional centres. The benefits continue.

ANA Lutana 70th Anniversary

ANA Lutana 70th Anniversary

Sunday, September 2, 2018 commemorates the 70th Anniversary of the loss of ANA Lutana, its 10 passengers and three crew on Mount Crawley. There is a memorial to the Lutana crash, a propeller, mounted in Jenkins Street. There is also information on the crash, that involved many Nundle residents in the rescue party, at the Nundle Court House Museum. The crash led to major changes to Australian aviation air traffic control.
