Stormcrow Studio

Location: 72 Jenkins Street, Nundle

Stormcrow Studio is an Art space and store by Natasha Soonchild. We paint, we print, and we create objets d’art using antiques, off-cuts and neglected treasure.

Natasha is a painter, print-maker, designer and sculptor from Australia. She uses traditional methods in her art-making and has studied oil painting, book binding, Japanese printing, dry-point etching and lime rendering.  When not making original artworks, Natasha travels the world sourcing and restoring unique illustrations from bygone times. At Stormcrow Studio you’ll find curated collections from Spain, Denmark. England, Wales and Scotland.

Visit our store in the gold-mining town of Nundle, Australia. The studio is inside what used to be the old Butcher’s shop, now a beautifully restored heritage building in the heart of the village.

For our relief printing we have converted an old washing mangle originally used in one of the first commercial laundries in Sydney’s Haymarket, into a working etching press.

Almost everything in our Studio is handmade and designed onsite, including our Rustic Robots made from recycled miscellany, relief prints, hand-printed cards, unique sculptures, driftwood hat-stands, antiqued mirrors and much more.
